In 2026, the Murmansk region plans to replace 66 heat exchangers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Construction of the Murmansk region.
New water heaters will appear in Kandalaksha, Kirovsk, Murmansk, Polar Zorya, Severomorsk, Alexandrovsk, Zaozersk and Terek district. To date, 11 heat exchangers have been installed in ten houses. Work continues in the other houses.
It is noted that a few years ago, residents of houses where the water heater broke down could remain without hot water for years. Now the management company sends the act of rejection to the commission under the Ministry of Construction. The commission includes work in the short-term plan, and the boiler is changed for overhaul.
Over seven years, 407 modern heat exchangers have been installed in the region. The hot water will be returned to 60 more homes this year. The replacement process takes about six months.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in the Pechenga district 11 new boilers will warm residents in the winter.
