In the Altai region on October 9 will sound sirens
Inspection of warning systems of Altai Krai will be held today, October 9, in all municipalities. According to the press center of the regional Emergencies Ministry, local residents will hear a loud “Attention to all”.
The planned large-scale inspection of public warning systems will take place on October 9. With the help of these devices, a signal is timely communicated to the population in case of threat or occurrence of emergency situations of natural and man-made nature.
During the check, a signal from electric sirens will sound “Attention to everyone!”. In addition, information will be transmitted on television and radio.
So, the submission of commands for electromechanical and acoustic sirens will be made on October 9 from 10:30 to 10:33 in municipalities, and from 10:40 to 10:43 in Barnaul.
The inclusion of broadcasting on TV and radio channels with the replacement of all-Russian mandatory and public TV channels (from the first to the 10th) will last from 10:43 to 10:44.
On the radio channel “Russia” at a frequency of 106.0 FM, the signal will sound from 10:33 to 10:34. Also, the message of the Emergencies Ministry can be heard on the frequency of Radio Russia (103.4 MHz), Avtoradio (103.9 MHz) or Chanson (101.9 MHz).
“Hearing the siren, it is necessary to remain calm, turn on the television (any public channel) or radio and listen to the information message. Comprehensive inspections of warning systems are carried out on a regular basis to ensure the efficiency of all elements of the public warning system and to increase the readiness of duty services to respond to possible emergencies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Altai Territory explained.
