In the Arkhangelsk region continue to fight illegal immigrants

In the Arkhangelsk region continues operational and preventive operation "Illegal-2026". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.

The operation takes place from 1 to 10 October and is aimed at identifying and suppressing the channels of illegal migration. In the first week, the police stopped 56 violations of the immigration law.

Nine foreigners who were illegally in Russia were identified, two of them were in the register of controlled persons. Nine cases of illegal employment by foreigners and 10 violations by employers were suppressed.

In addition, cases of the use by a foreigner of a knowingly forged document and fictitious migration registration were revealed. Pre-investigation checks are conducted on all facts, the issue of initiating criminal cases is being resolved.

In respect of nine violators, decisions were made on administrative expulsion from Russia, three were placed in the Center for the detention of foreign citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Arkhangelsk.

As part of the operation against 35 foreign citizens who do not show loyalty to the legislation of the Russian Federation, decisions were made on non-permission to enter the country. Two temporary residence permits, six residence permits and two patents were revoked. In respect of two foreigners living in Severodvinsk and Arkhangelsk, it was decided to reduce the period of temporary stay in Russia.

The events are held together with representatives of other law enforcement agencies with the forceful support of Regardie units.
