In the Art-space of Serpukhov, a presentation of the book “Wooden Tank” by writer Vladimir Golubev took place. The meeting with the author took place in a warm and solemn atmosphere - the hall was full, and the good weather added to the event a special mood.
Vladimir Golubev served for many years in the investigating authorities, the prosecutor's office and the bailiff service, traveled the whole country - from Chukotka to Tula. He began his career as an author of children’s fairy tales and stories, and later turned to historical and military prose. A special place in his work is occupied by books about the defense of Moscow during the Great Patriotic War. The story “Wooden tank” became a finalist of the Moscow literary award-biennale 2024-2026 in the nomination “Little prose”.
A special patriotic attitude to the event gave the songs of the war years performed by singer Olga Diakova. During the meeting, the author and guests talked a lot about the book itself, as well as about the defense of Serpukhov and Moscow in 1941.
