In the Astrakhan region, 374 students chose targeted education in 2026

In 2026, employers of the Astrakhan region posted 537 proposals for targeted training on the “Work in Russia” portal. Of these, 374 students signed contracts and entered the universities of the region. Such data was provided by the Employment Agency of the region.

The vast majority of the target people – 92% – chose medical specialties. The rest preferred the agricultural sector, shipbuilding, transport and pedagogy.

Schoolchildren and students of the Astrakhan region participate in the project of the employment service for career guidance. Within the framework of the initiative, professional consultants acquaint young people with targeted training, which guarantees free receipt of a demanded profession and the first job.

As the acting director of the Personnel Center of the Astrakhan region Saule Magzumova noted, target students receive internships from a future employer, support from the enterprise and guaranteed employment. For companies, this is an opportunity to train specialists for their tasks.

The project is implemented within the framework of the national project “Personnel”, and from 2024 you can find proposals and conclude contracts on the portal “Work in Russia”.
