In August, Kaliningrad borrowed almost 20 billion rubles from banks

In August, Kaliningrad borrowed 19.3 billion rubles from banks. This is the highest figure since the beginning of the year. This was reported by the regional branch of the Bank of Russia.

For the year, from September last year to August this year, residents of the Kaliningrad region borrowed more than 212.8 billion rubles from banks - 24% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the total debt to banks increased by 10% and reached 263.4 billion rubles by September 1.

The Bank of Russia explained that loans became more affordable after reducing the key rate from 21% to 14%. Banks then began lowering interest rates. If prices continue to rise more slowly, loans could become even cheaper.

Earlier we wrote that Kaliningrad saved the car from sale at auction for 2.1 million rubles.
