In Australia, a store owner found ice cream in the freezer that had been there for 30 years, ABC News reported.
Harrow shopkeeper Ash Stanbridge, having dismantled the freezer, came across ice cream hidden on the bottom under an old package.
“At first I did not believe what I saw. It became obvious that the ice cream did not lose its shape and density, as if frozen in space and time.
In the store's 145-year history, it has been under Ash's command for just 10 months. Previously, this dessert was very popular: it consisted of vanilla ice cream in milk chocolate, caramel layer and chocolate glaze.
I was a kid in the late 90s and I remember how crazy everyone was about ice cream. It was the most fashionable thing at the time. One has only to see this wrapper, as immediately pop up in the memory of Friday trips after him, he says.
Stanbridge made contact with an ice cream company. The company said it was considering the matter.
“At the moment, we can only recommend following the news,” the statement said.
