In Bashkiria will use the popularity of Ay Yola to attract tourists
Bashkiria plans to increase the flow of tourists and attract guests to the republic, betting not only on infrastructure, but also emotions: from romance for newlyweds to immersion in the history of mining civilization

One of the “locomotives” of promoting the republic will be the “Honeymoon in Bashkiria” project. As noted by the Minister of entrepreneurship and tourism of the region Svetlana Vereshchagina, this direction will be massively promoted together with tour operators.
The project is aimed at newlyweds and couples who want to spend a romantic trip around the republic, said Svetlana Mikhailovna. - The route can include paired horseback riding, a dawn meeting on the Shihan of Toratau, a traditional Bashkir wedding, a visit to Birsk - the center of family, love, loyalty. A special flavor can give the joint collection of honey on the apiary as a symbol of sweet family life and SPA rituals based on honey.
Another large-scale direction will be ethno-cultural tourism. Instead of a standard acquaintance only with the Bashkir culture, guests will be offered the product Multinational Bashkortostan. Tourists from Moscow and St. Petersburg will be able to immerse themselves in the traditions of different peoples of the republic in one trip.
According to the head of the tourism department of Bashkortostan, the event agenda of the region will also become an important part of the tourist offer.
- For example, I will cite: there is a tourist product "Journey to the Baltic" - acquaintance with Belarusian culture, "Going to visit my grandmother" - acquaintance with Mari culture, - said Svetlana Vereshchagina. - There are still a lot of events, for example, in the Iglinsky district the holiday of Ivan Kupala, Guko is springless, in the Kaltasinsky district - "Silver rope". That is, it can be a unique offer, when in one trip you can get acquainted with five cultures.
Regional tourism also works in other areas. It is planned to integrate the epic “Ural-Batyr” into tourist offers, since the creativity of the Ay Yola group is now a factor of growth.
“We have said that Ural-Batyr can become our strong brand in the tourist direction,” said Ms. Vereshchagina. A separate niche is equestrian tourism, which is not yet occupied by anyone from the regions. Bashkiria plans to position itself here through the Bashkir horse brand and the construction of the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations.
Since September of this year, the republic has started systematic work on the development of inclusive tourism under the name “Accessible Bashkortostan”.
“As long as no region positions itself, we can also be the first here,” added Svetlana Vereshchagina. In Russia, 11 million people have a disability status, they will come with an escort. Plus “Affordable Bashkortostan” is not only for people with disabilities, but also for mothers with wheelchairs, the elderly.
The authorities are actively developing interregional cooperation. Together with the Chelyabinsk region, the Great Stone Belt highway is launched along the border of Europe and Asia, and with the Samara and Orenburg regions - the route "In search of a scarlet flower" to the places of life of the Aksakov family.
In addition, the Hour of Tourism discussed the development of territories related to industrial heritage.
General Director of the Center for Science, Education, Ecology, Culture and Tourism "Toratau Geopark" Zagir Khadimullin presented the concept of development of the site of the Voskresensk copper smelting plant in the Meleuzovsky district. It involves the improvement of more than 1.2 hectares behind the factory building, where they plan to place a gastronomic and craft yards, a garden and a factory settlement. The head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov supported the idea that will contribute to the formation of a large recreational space in the villages of Verkhotor and Resurrection.
Business has also joined the development of locations. In the village of Verkhotor, the artist Vera Sharygina bought a historical house built in 1890, which belonged to the priest Peter Evladov, to place an art gallery there.
The meeting participants also considered the prospects for the improvement of the site of the Tirlyansky Metallurgical Plant in the Beloretsk district and the concept of creating a House of Artisans in the Sofronova-Yanchevskaya mansion in Ufa.
The head of the administration of the Belebeevsky district Azat Sakhabiev presented proposals for the improvement of the territory near the Deev house of 1917, built in the village of Znamenka. Given the large number of architectural monuments, Radiy Khabirov proposed to give Znamenka the status of a historical settlement for participation in the All-Russian competition to create a comfortable urban environment.
- This is a significant part of the economy, a great history of preserving architectural and archaeological sites, the head of the republic said. This is a job and an opportunity to introduce Bashkortostan to our guests. Therefore, for the development of the industry, we are conducting multilateral work – creating transport infrastructure, building new accommodation facilities, expanding the range of services. All this contributes to the growth of tourist traffic and economic indicators. However, we still have some work to do.
