In the village of Batetsky completed the improvement of the festive square on Zosimov street near the railway station. This place was chosen not by chance, the press service of the Ministry of construction and housing and communal services of the Novgorod region reported.
Many years ago, folk festivals and Village Day were celebrated on the old Station Square. Locals still remember those bright events with warmth, and especially the performances of the famous singer Edward Hill, who repeatedly came here in the 2000s. Now residents have a great opportunity to revive this good tradition of celebrating in the renovated square.
Work began in March under the federal program for the formation of a comfortable urban environment of the national project Infrastructure for Life. The square has significantly changed: beautiful lighting has been installed here and interesting art objects have appeared.
Guests and residents can take pictures against the background of the glowing words "Give", "Value" and "Keep", as well as near the large inscription "Good". The contractor also mounted the stage complex and the original topiary in the form of a globe in his hand, which gives the square a special charm.
But the development of the village does not stop there. Already next year, large-scale changes are waiting for the territory near the sports complex. They plan to build a modern amphitheater, a walking area with canopies and a playground. A special pride will be the unique photo zone "Silver Stork", which will definitely attract the attention of both local residents and guests of Batetsky.
Earlier we wrote that Governor Alexander Dronov in March of this year held a personal reception of citizens, during which he promised to equip a place for celebrations in Batetsky.
