Delegations arrive in Belarus for the forum “Talk about the important: a happy family – a strong state”

Parliamentary delegations are coming to Belarus to participate in the forum “Conversation on the Important: A Happy Family is a Strong State”, which will be held on October 12 and 13 in Polotsk. This was reported in the press service of the Council of the Republic, writes sb.by.

This year, the forum gained international status for the first time. Official parliamentary delegations from Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan will take part in it.

“The institution of the family, motherhood, childhood and the preservation of traditional values are themes that unite our countries at the deepest level. The exchange of experience in these matters is more relevant than ever, because a strong family serves as a reliable foundation for any state.

Tomorrow, October 12, in Polotsk will be held an official meeting of the Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova with members of parliamentary delegations. Tomorrow, the forum itself will begin its work, promising to become a bright platform for meaningful dialogue and the development of common solutions.

An open dialogue will be held in the Savior-Euphrosinievsky Women’s Monastery, during which Natalia Kochanova and Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus will meet with large families from all regions of the country. On the same day, participants will visit Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk and Polotsk Cadet School, as well as get acquainted with the exhibition of folk crafts.

The key event of the forum will be the plenary session, which will be held under the arches of the Sophia Cathedral. Participants will discuss the priorities of demographic security, the development of state family policy, the strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation and guidelines for the spiritual and moral education of young people. The forum will end with a festive concert program “Time to choose true values: family, faith, unity, homeland”.
