In Belarus will be organized a competition of beaches of the Narochan region

In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, the National Tourism Agency will hold a review competition for the creation and improvement of an exemplary beach space on the coastal strip of Lake Naroch. This was reported in the government, writes sb.by.

Lake Naroch is the largest resort region of Belarus, which provides mass recreation of the population and the development of tourist services. The competition will help to systematically improve the quality of recreational infrastructure and ensure a modern level of recreation in one of the key tourist areas of the country.

- To participate in the review-competition are invited sanatorium-resort, health and other organizations located on the banks of Narocha. From the end of October 2026 to the beginning of May 2027, the participants of the organization will have to perform works on the improvement of the beaches. View of the beach areas is scheduled for May 2027. During this period, the competition commission will inspect and evaluate the beaches according to six criteria: the development of the territory, free and safe access to the beach, the environmental friendliness of the materials used in the improvement, functional diversity, safety infrastructure, comfortable environment.

According to the results of the review, the winner will be determined - he will receive a monetary reward in the amount of 500 thousand.
