The theme of the contest is “The world of standards through the eyes of children: from life safety to technological leadership”. Students of three age categories are invited to participate: 6-9, 10-12 and 13-16 years. Works are accepted in two categories - information and research projects - in the form of a drawing, poster, layout, video, article or computer presentation. Participation is individual, only one project from the contestant is allowed.
The innovation was the transition to a two-stage system. The first round will be held from October to November in each region, works are accepted until November 1. The second stage will take place from December 2026 to February 2027, where the commission will determine the winners in each nomination and age category.
