Technical Committee for Standardization in the Field of Civil Defense
The new structure of TC BY 43 will develop product requirements for emergency protection. The functions of the secretariat are entrusted to the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergencies, the committee included 11 organizations.
A new technical committee on standardization of TC BY 43 “Civil defense, protection against natural and man-made emergencies” has started its work in Belarus. Its creation was reported in the press service of the State Committee for Standardization.
The main task of the new structure is to develop requirements and test methods for products used in the field of civil defense and for emergency response.
The key objective of the Committee is to promote the implementation of technical policy in this area, as well as to increase the efficiency of work on state, interstate and international standardization.
The functions of the secretariat are assigned to the state educational institution “University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus”. The committee may include research institutes, educational institutions, republican public administration bodies and public associations. To date, 11 organizations have been included in the list of participants.
