Belarus approves shift of working day in May 2027

The Belarusian government has approved the postponement of the working day in 2027. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports with reference to the press service of the government.

According to the document, the working day from Monday, May 10, is postponed to Saturday, May 8. It is noted that this decision will ensure the most balanced duration of periods of work and rest.

As a result, Belarusians will rest for three consecutive days:

  1. 1.May 9 (Sunday) -- Victory Day;
  2. 2.may 10 (monday) - day off as a result of transfer;
  3. 3.May 11 (Tuesday) - Radunica.
