In Belarus launched a charity project “ERA”. It includes three initiatives: support for sports, assistance to animals and care for the environment, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.
The project united the efforts of the Belarusian Hockey Federation, the Belarusian Football Federation and Betera. Its main task is to unite the efforts of the company, sports federations, schools, specialized state bodies, organizations and public initiatives.
The first results have already been achieved: more than 20 thousand trees have been planted, more than 7 tons of animal feed have been transferred to organizations and volunteers, more than 900 children have the opportunity to play sports.
The project has four to five months to implement. At least 20 sports schools from 10 cities of Belarus will receive targeted support during this time.
Chairman of the Ice Hockey Federation Alexander Bogdanovich noted that such support is especially important for children from the regions.
- For our part, we will provide expertise: we will help determine which schools need assistance in the first place, what kind of equipment is needed, how to distribute it, BelTA quotes Bogdanovich.
The first city of the route will be Baranovichi. The format of events in each school will be unique: training with famous athletes, challenges or matches with professional teams.
