In the library of Lermontov came to life paintings of the Bessonovsky district

In the regional library named after Lermontov in Penza, a presentation of cultural institutions of the Bessonovsky district was held. The event took place within the framework of the competition of amateur artistic activity “I sing to you, my Sursky Krai!”. Since 2026, this competition has been named after the Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Ogarev. It is held within the framework of the regional project “Pride”, which enjoys the comprehensive support of the Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko.

The guests were presented with photo zones, as well as exhibitions of decorative and applied creativity and folk crafts. Visitors could get acquainted with the works of Bessonian masters, see an interactive exposition of lively paintings, stands of the Historical and Architectural Complex “Estate of Ustinovs”, as well as the exhibition “Besson’s Chronicle”, pottery and interior toys. In addition, everyone could try the products produced in the area.

Interim Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the region Ildar Mavlyudov called the competition a wonderful event that allows you to see what each district lives. He admitted that the inspection of the exhibition caused him delight, and thanked the team of the Bessonovsky district for creativity and creativity. On behalf of the Governor Oleg Melnichenko, he expressed gratitude to the organizers and heads of districts for their responsible attitude to the festival. Mavlyudov also recalled that over the past five years, more than 70 cultural institutions have been updated with the support of the governor and within the framework of the national projects Culture and Family. It revitalizes cultural life in municipalities, turning cultural houses, art schools and libraries into centers of attraction for local residents.

There was a concert in the library hall. The best creative teams and soloists of the region performed on the stage, showing different genres of performing skills. Concluding the concert, Deputy Head of Bessonovsky District Lyubov Ivanova thanked the audience for the warm welcome and interest in the culture of the small homeland.
