In the Bulgarian city of Ruse, located on the banks of the Danube, on October 11 recorded a new temperature record. According to the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency, the temperature in the shade reached 33.7 degrees.
The previous maximum for this date was set in 1924. Then meteorologists recorded 30.5 degrees.
The opposite temperature was observed in 1979. On that day, October 11, thermometers in Ruse showed only one degree.
