The kindest words today, October 9, were addressed to the mothers of the best servicemen of the 38th Brest Separate Guards Air Assault Vienna Red Banner Brigade. According to tradition, on the eve of the Day, mothers of women are invited to the part and give a festive concert, reports sb.by.

In the morning, mothers of servicemen gather at the checkpoint of the 38th brigade, where their sons are waiting for them. Together they go to the military club. Gradually, the auditorium is being filled. Joy, sincere smiles, warm-heartedness - every woman here is thanked for the upbringing of her son, who exemplifies his military duty and is an example for his colleagues.
- Proud of my son. He wanted to serve in that part. It's been almost a year. It was very exciting at first. Then we used to. We're close, he's getting fired. In the summer, he already had the first parachute jump, says Brest resident Svetlana Kuzmich about his son Vladislav.
Among the guests is Svetlana Pravdina, who says that her son is sociable, diligent and very responsible. He joined the army after college, plans to stay here in the future and serve under contract.
- It is very pleasant that we were invited today, the Brest resident shares her emotions. I try to come here at any opportunity. Sometimes I’m very worried, especially before my son’s first parachute jump. It went well.
Son Vladislav adds:
- I am very grateful to my mother for her support, for her endless care. Our team is also very friendly. If something happens, everyone will help each other, so I plan to stay here.
All the invited mothers today received letters of thanks from the command of the unit and flowers. Addressing the women, Chief of Staff, First Deputy Commander of the 38th Brigade Ivan Denisenko noted:
- We know how much you care about your children. We're watching them here in the brigade, watching them grow up, watching them grow up. The most important thing that protects them is your love. It gives them strength, gives them patience, gives them the desire and desire to do something. On this day, we wish you health, well-being, patience and fulfillment of your wishes.
Also for the guests were the orchestra of the military unit and the vocal and instrumental ensemble “Eagles over the Bug”, which the audience actively sang along.
And after the holiday program, the servicemen went on dismissal.
