In the Brest region began to include heating: where is already warm and in what order connect the house

In a number of cities and districts of the Brest region began to supply heat to residential buildings. Such information was provided in the Brest Regional Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Utilities Management".

On October 6, the Brest Regional Executive Committee sent letters to the city and district executive committees with a recommendation to start the heating period. Final decisions are made by local authorities, taking into account the weather forecast. According to housing and communal services, all city and district executive committees have already approved the beginning of the heating season.

Priority of heat supply

Social and cultural facilities are the first to receive heat – this is the first group of consumers: children’s preschool and school institutions, medical and preventive and medical organizations, social security institutions, specialized educational and sports institutions, museums, state archives, libraries and hotels. Now such objects are either already connected or are in the stage of connection. On average, about 80% of consumers are included in the region.

In the housing stock, heat supply began in Baranovichi, Drogichin, Ivanovo, Ivatsevichi, Pruzhany, as well as in Pinsk and Stolinsky districts. In the near future, other cities and districts of the Brest region will join this list.

In the third stage, heating will be included in administrative and production buildings.

Time of launch of systems in different settlements

In large cities, the start-up of heating usually takes from three to five days: this time is necessary for setting up systems, swelling and carrying out related work. In district centers and rural settlements, as a rule, it is possible to complete the launch within one day.

Infrastructure and readiness for the season

In the Brest region there are 615 boiler houses – they provide heat to the housing stock, social and cultural facilities and other consumers. There are about 5.3 thousand residential buildings with centralized heating.

Preparation for the cold season in the southwestern region began in the spring: repairs of boiler houses, relaying of heating networks, fuel procurement and other necessary measures were carried out.
