In Bryansk, the season of city fountains ends

In Bryansk, from the beginning of October, the city fountains are transferred to the winter regime. All ten hydraulic structures will be completed in the coming days, after which their conservation will begin.

In the bowls of fountains, water is flushed and pipelines are blown to protect them from frost. The equipment is cleaned of lime and glandular deposits, nozzles are checked and preventive inspection is carried out.

Fountains in Volodar and Fokine districts have already been turned off. By the end of the week, the work will be completed at facilities in Bezhitsa and the Soviet district. The last water will be blocked on the Mound of Immortality, Partisan Square and Karl Marx Square.

For the winter, all the fountains, except for the construction on Partizan Square, will be covered with protective shields. The bowl of the fountain in the square of Karl Marx will be covered with a special deck, in the center of which the main city tree will be installed.

During the winter, specialists will regularly check the condition of hydraulic structures, pump rooms and ventilation systems. The fountains will resume next year with the start of the new park season.
