In the Bryansk region created a Council for the preparation of citizens for military service

The Governor of the Bryansk region Egor Kovalchuk signed a decree on the creation of a coordinating council for the preparation of residents of the region for military service and military-patriotic education.

The document of September 29 was published on the regional portal of legal information. The new structure will bring together representatives of regional authorities, municipalities and the regional branch of DOSAAF Russia.

The Council will analyze the work of DOSAAF, forecast the directions of its development and develop support measures for the organization. Among the tasks are also coordination of the work of state and public structures to prepare citizens for military service, develop patriotism and increase the prestige of military service.

Deputy Governor Alexei Zhuk has been appointed Chairman of the Council. His deputy was the head of the regional branch of DOSAAF Andrey Knyazev. The composition will also include representatives of relevant regional departments and municipal authorities.

Meetings are scheduled to take place as needed. The decisions of the Council will be advisory in nature.
