In Buryatia, the seller paid 48 thousand rubles after the intervention of the Prosecutor’s office

In the village of Kyren, Tunkinsky district of Buryatia, the labor rights of a woman who worked as a food seller without an official employment contract were restored. After checking the prosecutor's office, the entrepreneur paid her a final settlement and compensation for unused leave totaling 48 thousand rubles.

It was established that the woman worked for an individual entrepreneur from May 2025 to April 2026. Upon dismissal, the employer did not make a full calculation, and also did not transfer mandatory insurance premiums and taxes for the entire period of its work.

The Prosecutor’s office of the Tunkinsky district made an idea to the entrepreneur about the elimination of violations. After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the necessary payments were made, insurance premiums and payments were transferred.

According to Article 140 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, all amounts due to the employee must be paid on the day of dismissal. If the employee did not work on this day, the calculation must be made no later than the next day after the presentation of the claim.
