V. Kukharev at the Spartakiad near Minsk: today we will see good sports achievements

The second stage of the XII Spartakiad among the employees of the Minsk City Executive Committee, district administrations, media and deputies takes place on September 19 in the sanatorium "Green Bor". What competitions were held on the second day – read the material of the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The morning began with a weigh-in - for a tug-of-war contest. The total weight of the entire team should not exceed 540 kg. After that, the participants went for breakfast, and then gathered for the opening ceremony.

The Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev addressed the athletes with a welcoming speech.

- We meet annually at such friendly sporting events, which are not only for sports, but also for uniting the team. You feel each other's support. We trained long and hard together, and it worked. Therefore, I think today we will see good sporting achievements, and most importantly, the excitement and desire to win. Therefore, I congratulate everyone on the start of the Spartakiad, wish everyone health, success, good luck, and, of course, high sports achievements. We are working! said V. Kukharev.

Immediately after the opening, the laser run started. The start was given by the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

All teams were divided into three races on four tracks. Participants had not only to run, but also to overcome two firing lines: each in 50 seconds had to hit the target five times. Under the first number was supposed to be a girl, and the closing – the leader. The competitions were dynamic, the absolute leader was the Partizan district.

- Training and training again. They ran in person and practiced shooting together. The female part of our team acted strategically - went to bed early to perform as rested as possible. It is not the first year we try to keep the bar: in previous years we were in the prize three, and in this year it is very pleasant to get gold. I'm really glad it worked. And in principle, our leader is very athletic, he participates in the run, and we, of course, could not fail, shared the members of the winning team.

Then the tug of war began. The excitement was enormous. After each stage, the teams changed tactics, the audience cheered for their and friends. Almost all teams used a cunning technique: moments lay on the rope with the whole team, loading it as much as possible, waiting for rivals to get tired, and then jerking themselves. According to the results of the struggle, prizes were distributed as follows: the first place is the Minsk City Executive Committee, the second is the Factory District, the third is the Minsk-Novosti agency.

Then came the shooting competition among the leaders. Perseverance and accuracy demonstrated everything.

The winner was the head of the administration of the Zavodsky district Vladimir Shibeko. He admitted that a sharp eye is not an accident.

- These are children's games, which later turned into a certain skill. The only thing here is calmness, confidence and support of the team: when one stands at the border, but everyone worries about you, it gives confidence. And the rest is training, without them nothing will happen. I like to shoot with a bow, a gun or a rifle. First of all, it gives true pleasure, and if you like, then this is the result, the winner said.

The Spartakiad continues richly: in parallel there are already competitions on the volleyball field, cycling, tennis table and other disciplines.
