In the center of Yaroslavl again put up for sale a historic building

In Yaroslavl, tenders for the sale of premises in the building of the New Social series of a shrewd market on Andropov Street were resumed. The object of cultural heritage is located in the central part of the city. This time, the initial cost was set at 25.94 million rubles - about half the previous price.

Acceptance of applications from potential buyers began on October 5. The auction is planned to be held on November 12, if there are applicants for the purchase of premises.

The history of the building is connected with a tragic incident. In 2022, the new owner began carrying out works that were not agreed upon. During repairs in the basement flooring collapsed, resulting in the death of a person. After the incident, the work was stopped, and the building was seized from the owner.

Later, the cost of the object was determined in court. Initially, it was put up for auction for about 51 million rubles, but there were no people willing to buy real estate. Now the authorities expect to attract buyers by significantly reducing the price.
