In honor of the 30th anniversary of the VNS Mikhail Myasnikovich handed over the personal hours of the delegate to the first school museum in Minsk

In the year of the 30th anniversary of the WNC. A unique gift from one of the capital’s schools was given today by a well-known statesman and public figure Mikhail Myasnikovich.

His personal watch as a delegate of the First All-Belarusian People’s Assembly will now be in the school museum. This will allow the kids to feel the time. The museum exposition has more than 160 hours, which help to touch the real history through the lives of people who created the foundation of Belarusian statehood.

Ekaterina Ilyina, a student of the 10th grade of secondary school No. 55 in Minsk: This is a very important day in my life. That never happened. This is very important for our museum. People come to us often. Different children may even come from kindergarten or, as today, very high-level guests. We talk about the clock and, accordingly, if it is children, we prepare a special tour.”.

Mikhail Myasnikovich, statesman and public figure of Belarus: It is wonderful that we have school museums, it actually expands the horizons of students, involves in some new initiatives, new interesting search works. Here, it is very good that not only exhibits are collected, but as they say, there is some philosophy of unique products, where great people speak about time, about the watch itself, as such. It is good when children know the history of their country, world history, it suggests that the nation is developing quite successfully, and we have a good younger generation.

This year, the 55th school of Minsk turned 70 years old. The guests got acquainted with the history of the institution, and also left an entry in the Book of Honorary Guests.
