The Derbent city court announced the verdict in the criminal case of a large sale of narcotic drugs, the joint press service of the courts of Dagestan reports.
From March to April 2024, the defendants sold drugs on the seashore near the Radio Element plant on Construction Street in Derbent. The transactions were systemic.
The organizer of the scheme was found guilty of 20 episodes of sale as part of an organized group and 22 episodes as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy, as well as preparation for the sale of drugs on an especially large scale. The total weight of the seized exceeded 1870 grams.
Two other defendants were convicted of similar crimes.
The organizer was sentenced to 20 years in prison in a strict regime colony, his accomplices received 15 years each. The convicts confiscated money (541,000, 376,000 and 50,000 rubles), mobile phones and SIM cards. Drugs will be destroyed after the sentence comes into force.
