Acting head of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin held an unscheduled joint meeting of the Anti-Terrorist Commission of the Republic and the Operational Headquarters, at which security issues were discussed. The head of the region reported this in his Telegram channel.

At the meeting, following the results of the vulnerability assessment, critical facilities were identified and a regional list of objects subject to protection was formed. The first priority, according to Shchukin, is to protect the energy, industrial and transport infrastructure, including the seaport and the airport.

The head of the region stressed that all regime measures taken by authorities and business entities should be synchronized with the actions of law enforcement and law enforcement agencies. Security work continues.
