In the Dendrological Park of the city of Holm, another improvement was completed within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”, Governor of the Novgorod Region Alexander Dronov said in the MAKS channel.
Now guests of the park are greeted by figures of forest animals - a bear, a hare, an elk, a deer with a deer and a lynx, the head of the region said. The exposition organically fits into the space and is especially interesting for children: it helps to get acquainted with the fauna of local forests.
In parallel, the territory was put in order: emergency trees were removed, the playground was updated, LED letters “HOLM” were installed. This is not the first stage of the transformation of the park: previously, paths were arranged here, benches and solar-powered lamps were installed, the governor noted.
Dendrologic Park is a place with history: it was founded in 1965, and today there is a unique collection of plants for the region, including olive tree, walnut and other exotic species.
Alexander Dronov expressed confidence that the hillbillies will have even more reasons to come here for a walk with the whole family.
