In Desnogorsk held the “Race of nuclear cities – 2026” with the participation of more than 800 people

Desnogorsk joined the all-Russian sports festival “Race of Nuclear Cities”, organized by Rosatom. The event, organized by the administration and trade union of the Smolensk NPP, this year was dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, so many participants came to the start in national ethno costumes.

Welcoming words to the athletes were addressed by the leadership of the Smolensk NPP, representatives of the regional Duma and the city administration. NPP workers, veterans, schoolchildren and families with children took part in the launches. The program included a mass start, a 1km Nordic walk for the older generation, as well as a family relay for a symbolic 2026m, which was attended by 14 family teams.
