Roszdravnadzor announced a warning to the children's city clinic No. 45 of the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg because of violations in the accounting of medicines. According to the Agency, in the system of monitoring the movement of drugs were dozens of packages of drugs with expired expiration date, follows from the data of the Prosecutor General’s office.
As follows from the document, as of October 8, in the clinic on Tovarishchesky Prospekt, 10, building 3, drugs that were not withdrawn from the accounting system remained in the status of “in circulation”. Among them are vaccines against hepatitis B, chickenpox, hepatitis A, diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus, as well as drugs for the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Some packages expired in 2022.
The department pointed to a discrepancy between the actual residues of labeled drugs and the data of the federal information system. The clinic was ordered to take measures to comply with the requirements for accounting of drugs and timely entry of information about all operations with them.
The warning does not mean that expired drugs were used to vaccinate patients: the document concerns their accounting and status in the monitoring system.
The chief doctor since 2009 is Marina Novikova.
