In Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region, an elderly man was left without an old-age insurance pension due to an erroneous record of his death. To restore payments, the pensioner had to go to the Prosecutor’s office. After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the mistake was corrected, and the pension rights of the man were restored.
As it turned out during the prosecutor's inspection, the record of the death of a resident of Dimitrovgrad was mistakenly compiled by an employee of the registry office of the administration of the Vyborg municipal district of the Leningrad region.
As a result, the man who was alive, according to the documents, was dead. This led to the unlawful termination of the payment of his old-age insurance pension.
An elderly resident of the Ulyanovsk region asked for help in the prosecutor's office of Dimitrovgrad. Employees of the supervisory authority checked the circumstances of the incident and found that information about the death of the pensioner was made incorrectly.
