In Dmitrievka collectors pestered the wrong person with calls

24-year-old resident of the working village Dmitrievka faced pressure collectors because of someone else’s debt. The young man appealed to the relevant department of the Department with a complaint about the violation of his rights: employees of the collection organization called him with a demand to urgently repay the debt, although he was not a debtor.

During the inspection, the specialists of the department examined the evidence presented and confirmed that at the time of interaction the applicant was indeed not a debtor. Moreover, collectors exceeded the legal limits of calls – daily, weekly and monthly.

As a result of the proceedings, the credit institution was found guilty of violating the requirements of the legislation on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals when carrying out activities to return overdue debts. An administrative fine of 50 thousand rubles was imposed. The offenders paid for it in full.
