Free consultations on family issues will be held in Belarus within the framework of Parental Love Week

Within the framework of the Parental Love Week, which will be held in Belarus in mid-October and will be timed to celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, consultations on family issues are organized throughout the country. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of labor and social protection.

The press service informed:

- Parental Love Week is not just a holiday: parents will be able to get the necessary advice and legal assistance. In particular, on October 15, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, together with the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, will hold a single day of counseling on social protection of families with children. Direct telephone lines will be organized at the national and regional levels. On the same day, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection organizes an online school for parents working in organizations that have joined the initiative “Parent-Friendly Companies”.

In addition, on October 14 and 21, the Ministry of Justice, together with local authorities, the Belarusian Notary Chamber and the Belarusian Republican Bar Association, will organize free legal advice for mothers and fathers on marriage and family legislation and civil registration. The Ministry of Health and Health Organizations will hold events and direct telephone lines on family planning and maternity protection.

Mother’s Day is celebrated in Belarus on October 14, Father’s Day on October 21. The final of the contest "Family of the Year" will open a series of events on the eve of the Week of parental love. What else is planned?
