Preventive examinations of children are not a duty, but a vital necessity

Preventive examinations of children are not a duty, but a vital necessity. The early stages of serious ailments are often hidden, and only a qualified medical examination allows you to diagnose the threat in a timely manner. According to the Ministry of Health of the Donetsk People’s Republic, over the past week, 5,360 children underwent preventive examination. Since the beginning of 2026, 170,964 children have been examined.
The department stressed that first of all, preventive examination should be carried out for children from difficult families, orphans and those who were left without parental care.
“But every child needs to check their health,” the Ministry of Health noted.
You have to write it down. It is necessary to contact the pediatrician in the clinic at the place of residence. The doctor will make a list of examinations strictly by age.
“The list of specialists to pass depends on the age of the child and can be checked by the pediatrician before the examination,” the officials said.
The authorities also note that the preservation of the health of children is a priority of state policy. Within the framework of the federal project “Health for Everyone”, the national project “Long and active life” focuses on prevention.
“Remember: timely examination allows you to identify possible problems at an early stage and form the right habits of a healthy lifestyle from childhood,” the Ministry of Health of the Donetsk People’s Republic reminded.
Earlier, MK Donbass wrote that within the framework of a working trip to the Donetsk State Medical University named after M. Gorky, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Albertovich Murashko visited the Donetsk Medical General Education Lyceum – pre-university.
