This year, the search teams of the Murmansk region found the remains of 106 fighters. Twenty-seven of them have already been buried in Alakurtti. Today in the Valley of Glory found peace another 79 defenders of the Arctic. Of these, 75 were unnamed and four were identified. These are Vladimir Korzin, Grigory Voikov, Roman Nikitin and Nikolai Talaev.
Search operations in the region continue. Participants of expeditions every year find the remains of soldiers and help their relatives to learn the truth about the fate of loved ones.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the signed spoon will help identify the remains of a fighter in 1941 in Zaozersk.
