A city-wide Saturday was held in Donetsk

A city-wide Saturday was held in the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic. The general cleaning took place yesterday, October 10. The results were summed up by the head of Donetsk Alexei Kulemzin in his channel in the national messenger MAX.

According to him, 8,011 people and 52 units of specialized equipment took part in the Saturday. During the general cleaning, 1172.2 thousand square meters of streets, sidewalks and adjacent territories were cleared of garbage, and 93.1 thousand square meters of park territory were removed. More than 350 plants were planted. Excavated and cleaned 17 819 square meters of flower beds and lawns. In addition, two monuments were brought into proper condition, two children's and one sports ground were repaired. In addition, 10 unauthorized accumulations of waste were eliminated, from which 191 cubic meters of garbage were removed.

The total amount of garbage removed was 724 cubic meters.
