In Gelendzhik started large-scale work on the replacement of lighting on the embankment

In Gelendzhik updated lighting on the embankment. The work is carried out, taking into account the need to preserve the appearance of one of the main city attractions, the famous balustrade.

The contractor began replacing 133 lighting poles. Now specialists work on the site from Lermontovskaya Square to Kurzalny Street. The new supports are galvanized, with an additional protective coating: this treatment reliably protects the metal from corrosion, which is provoked by moist sea air.

The scope of work is wider than a simple replacement of poles: in parallel there is an update of electrical wiring. To protect the connections from moisture, waterproof junction boxes are used - this will increase the reliability of the system in difficult coastal conditions.

To complete the update on the embankment plan until November 25, said the mayor of Gelendzhik Alexei Bogodistov in the messenger MAX.
