In Genichesk after a large-scale overhaul opened a school of art

In Genichesk completed the overhaul of the children's art school. The building has not been updated since the 1960s, so the builders had to completely modernize the facility: rebuild the roof, facade, interior rooms and utilities, and replace the old coal boiler with a modern gas boiler.

The grand opening was celebrated with the first big concert in the renovated assembly hall. For teachers and pupils, the return to their native walls marked the end of a difficult period of temporary distribution to other sites of the city.

Along with the walls, the music fund was also updated: 12 domestic folk instruments – accordions and accordions – were purchased for the institution. The main pride of the stage was a new concert piano of Russian production.

The qualitative transformation of the school has led to a noticeable increase in the number of students. There are 177 young musicians, 69 of whom are first-graders. The teaching staff consists of 32 teachers, three of them came to work under the program “Zemsky cultural worker”.
