In the Genic district chose the largest pumpkin at the harvest festival

The festival “Our Labor is Our Pride” was held in the Genic District, where local farmers presented the results of their work. Participants decorated the farmsteads with vegetables, homemade pastries and other gifts of harvest, and guests were greeted in national costumes, performed songs and pieces of their own composition.

One of the main decorations of the exhibition was a pumpkin weighing 13 kilograms. According to Elena Kovalevskaya, a participant of the event, she was provided by a local agricultural producer who supported the idea of the festival.

Participants competed in 11 nominations. Among them were competitions for the largest pumpkin and the title of the most charming “Smile of the festival”. The Grand Prix was won by the Petrovsky Territorial Department and the peasant farm “Time”.

The holiday is timed to coincide with the Day of agricultural workers. The organizer was the United Russia party with the support of the administration of the Genic District. All participants received gifts that will be useful in everyday rural life.
