In Gomel, training camps of people's militia units are held

Republican exercises on territorial defense are held in the Central district of Gomel, where a militia detachment has been created. Belta reports.

Sergey Konukhov, commander of the 3rd detachment of the People's Militia of the Central District of Gomel, stressed: "The outfits are ready to carry out all orders and solve the tasks set. We all work in different areas, but we have a good relationship. And it's expensive - it's important that everyone feels the shoulder of a friend. I am sure that the exercises will be held at a high level. The plan includes street patrols, fire and medical training. In fact, we refresh the memory of all the knowledge that we previously received during service in the Armed Forces. I think that every man in our country should be ready at any moment to lend his shoulder to defend the state.”.

The basics of first aid reminded the ambulance doctors. Practices in detail told and showed effective techniques. Everyone could work out an algorithm of manipulations and actions that can save lives at some point.

I believe that everyone should be able to defend their family and homeland. And I am sure that I will cope with the tasks at the camps in peacetime, she said.

Most of the practical and theoretical classes are held on the basis of ATC units.

As reported, training camps with conscripts intended for territorial troops are held in Gomel, Svetlogorsk and October districts according to the plan from 1 to 25 September.
