In the Grodno region during the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” will restore about 300 hectares of forests

In the Grodno region, thanks to the republican action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!”, forests on an area of about 300 hectares will be restored, anyone can join the plantings. BelTA was told about this in Grodno State Forestry Production Association.

“The main attention will be paid to areas affected by hurricane winds, as well as territories with shrinking spruce plantations,” the GPLHO said. - The main forest-forming species will be planted: pine, spruce, larch, birch, oak, black alder.

As noted in the association, every year organizations of the region, schools, kindergartens, state bodies, representatives of the executive power, as well as caring residents of the region take part in the action. You can join the plantings by contacting the nearest forestry or forestry. Employees will provide the necessary planting material and inventory, added in the association.

The Republican action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” will be held in Grodno region, as well as throughout Belarus, from 17 to 24 October. 1.5 million seedlings have been prepared. Pine and birch will be planted by the participants of the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!”
