In Grodno began the heating season

The heating season started in Grodno: from October 6, heat began to flow to social facilities. The corresponding order was signed by the city executive committee, as reported in RUE Grodnoenergo.

Power engineers have started connecting kindergartens, schools, medical and social institutions, as well as museums, libraries and hotels.

Grodnoenergo said that the decision to start the season is taken by local authorities, focusing on temperature indicators. If the average daily air temperature exceeds +10 ° C, the equipment will be transferred to the heating mode. At the same time, it is planned to maximize the use of local fuels and promptly regulate the supply of thermal energy.

It should be noted that on October 5, similar measures to start the heat were taken in the neighboring cities of Lida and Smorgon.
