In Ivanovo, the court limited the freedom of the tenant of the burning mattress shop on Kosyakov

Leninsky district court of the city of Ivanovo chose a measure of restraint to the tenant of the production premises, in which on October 23 there was a large fire. During his extinguishing, firefighter Mikhail Malayev died.

The entrepreneur was charged with violating safety rules during construction work, which caused major damage.

The court ordered the defendant to ban certain actions for a period of two months. He is prohibited from leaving the house from 23:00 to 7:00, as well as contact with witnesses and victims in the criminal case.

According to the investigation, the individual entrepreneur rented a workshop for the production of mattresses and attracted workers for construction and installation work. During the cutting and grinding of structures with the help of a gas cutter and a “Bulgar” there was a fire due to careless handling of fire and dangerous equipment.

During the liquidation of the fire, employees of the regional department of the EMERCOM of Russia who arrived on the call received injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
