In the Ivanovo region checked the readiness of utilities for the winter

Preparation of municipalities for the heating season and ensuring road safety were discussed on October 8 at a working meeting in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ivanovo region. Representatives of regional executive authorities participated in the event.

According to the regional government, from October 1, heating was included in 826 social facilities and 99% of apartment buildings in the region. However, 84 houses in Ivanovo and Kokhma were still without heat due to unavailability of engineering networks and problems with the start of heating by management companies.

Governor Stanislav Voskresensky instructed the regional State Housing Inspectorate to take measures against organizations that did not ensure timely connection of houses to heating. In case of further inaction, the authorities are considering transferring these buildings to other management companies.

Special attention was paid to the issuance of passports of readiness for winter. This work is scheduled to be completed by November 15. 44 municipalities must pass the inspection. Preparatory activities and consumer readiness assessment have already been completed, now the inspection of resource supplying organizations is being completed. At the boiler houses, according to the authorities, regulatory reserves of coal and fuel oil have been created.
