In the Ivanovo region increased funding for the repair of rural roads

Governor Stanislav Voskresensky during a working meeting with the head of the road transport department Vladimir Shapovalov discussed the implementation of the program to put rural roads in order.

Governor's instructions: In connection with the appeals of citizens about the unsatisfactory condition of the ground cover (in particular, on the route Pustosh - Semenovo - Kharitonovo, which has not seen repairs for 50 years), the head of the region set a task to increase the share of expenses for rural areas.

“From 2026, we decided to allocate at least 10% of the road fund to rural roads,” said Stanislav Voskresensky.

Work progress 2026. This year, the plan includes 113 objects with a length of 265 km. 14.3% of the road fund was allocated for this purpose. On dirt roads, profiling and filling are performed, on asphalt roads - pit repair.

Plans 2020. It is planned to repair 123 rural roads (230 km) with the financing of about 15% of the road fund.
