In the Ivanovo region under the program “Zemsky teacher” came 14 teachers

Since the beginning of the new academic year, 14 teachers from different regions of the country have settled in schools of villages and small towns of the Ivanovo region. All of them became winners of the competitive selection under the federal program “Zemsky Teacher” and received one-time payments of one million rubles.

In 2027, educational institutions in the region will be able to accept nine more specialists. Since 2020, 57 teachers have moved to the Ivanovo region.

Interest in participating in the competition was significant: the organizers received 303 applications, but only 14 candidates were selected. The Commission took into account the professional training of applicants, as well as their ability to teach not only basic but also related subjects.

New specialists will work with younger schoolchildren, teach Russian language and literature, English and German, physical education, geography and technology. Teachers joined the schools of Vichuga, Kokhma, Teikov, Ivanovo and Palekh districts, as well as Zavolzhsky, Ilyinsky, Kineshemsky, Komsomolsky and Shuysky districts.
