In Kaliningrad region imported 4 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables from Egypt
Since the beginning of 2026, about 4 thousand tons of fruits, citrus fruits and vegetables from Egypt have been delivered to the Kaliningrad region. All products were checked by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists – the control was carried out until October 6.

Most of all in the supply was citrus — more than 3.2 thousand tons. The main part was oranges - 1.7 thousand tons, and tangerines - 1.2 thousand tons. In addition, 300 tons of lemons, 59 tons of grapefruit and about 400 kilograms of limes were brought to the region.
The supplies also included watermelons, grapes and pomegranates - a total of 85 tons. Vegetables, including sweet potatoes and carrots, accounted for another 518 tons.
In 175 slices of flowers from the Netherlands found the western flower thrips.
