In Kalmykia, debtors are afraid to lose their foreign cars

A joint raid of traffic police officers and bailiffs of the Lagansky district revealed a citizen who owed more than 100 thousand rubles.

Several enforcement proceedings have already been initiated against the man in the bailiff department. The bulk of the debt was unpaid loans, as well as administrative fines, including for violations of traffic rules. Despite repeated notifications, he did not take any measures to repay the debt, the bailiff service stressed. In relation to the debtor, a decree was issued prohibiting the commission of actions to register real estate, arrests were imposed on bank accounts. However, the man continued to evade payment and avoided meetings with bailiffs.

Last Friday, during the raid, road inspectors stopped the Volkswagen Polo, a bailiff seized a foreign car. The debtor was explained the consequences of his inaction: the arrested car will be transferred for sale, and the proceeds will be sent to repay the debt.

The man pledged to repay the entire amount of the debt within 10 days to avoid selling his property from auction.
