The prosecutor’s office found that in August 2026, the man found several bushes of wild cannabis near the Olga-Caspian Canal. He made cannabis from them, packaged them in a polymer bag and headed to Elista.
In the Chernozemel district, he was stopped by law enforcement officers who found the drug and seized it.
The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
