In Kalmykia develop industrial tourism

From 7 to 14 October, the leading family enterprise of Kalmykia Interstroymebel receives guests. The production has already been visited by gymnasium and lyceum students from the Housing. In the coming days, the factory will host four more excursion groups from city and district schools in the region.

The students saw in the furniture company a new production site, made furniture, got acquainted with the machine tool park, learned about the use of health-saving technologies and specially created conditions for disabled workers. At the master class, each of the children made a stool and took it with him as a gift.

“We sincerely hope that this excursion will help children make an informed choice of future profession,” said Lyubov Ubushayeva, CEO of the company.

Kalmykia joined the All-Russian project “Open Industry”. The Ministry of Economy of the region believes that enterprises will receive expertise to create unique excursion routes to demonstrate technological processes, openness, environmental friendliness and quality of local products. In addition, such projects help to attract young personnel, organize internships and career-oriented tours for schoolchildren and students of SPO.
